I am in needed of a GOOD and understanding doctor in Ohio. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia since 2002, but had in for several years prior. I also think that I have myositis. My legs, especially my thighs hurt terribly. I am a full time teacher and mother of 3 very busy children. The pain is starting to consume my life. There has to be some type of imbalance in our systems - chemical, vitamin or mineral deficiency, hormonal, or toxins! I also have a c-reactive protein level of 7.5. I do not want a doctor that is just going to prescribe muscle relaxers, sleeping pills, and pain medicine!! I want thorough testing - and need to fix the problem not cover up the symptoms! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I see Dr. James T. Kelly in Olmsted Twp. 440-427-5001

He diagnosed me with fibro. During the time he was trying to figure out what was wrong with me, he was great. he lsiten to me, never shyed away from any test he thought might be necessary to rule out other conditions. I see him periodcally and a rheumy: Dr. Sexton-Cicero in Westlake.

I try not to be on any meds so I go the the Preventive Medicine group in Westlake and se Dr. Gardner. Insurance does not cover it but it was money well spent for me. I go for nutritional iv's when I start feeling run down and it picks me right up! So although I chose a homeopathic treatment, I still see my other 2 doctors as needed.
