During a consultation with the CFIDS/FM specialist,
a patient asked what tests were performed and/or
what symptoms defined whether or not a patient
should be diagnosed as having chronic fatigue.

"Well," said the doctor, 'One test is to see how well
you can mentally function. What we do is, we fill up
a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a
bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the

"Oh, I understand," said the patient. "A normal person
would of course use the bucket because it's bigger than
    the spoon or the teacup."

"No," said the Director. "A healthy person would pull the
plug. Now, do you want a bed near the window?"

LOL, I've had days like that, but just gotta laugh at myself!

Other than the fatigue it's the short-term memory loss that's killing me! The brain fog has lifted a little, but there's no telling what I'm going to say or do.

I was sitting here thinking about how tiresome it would be to empty the tub even with a bucket!
