I have been ill with a virus infection for two weeks and have not left the house. Added to CFIDS I am really weak and I live in the country but don't have anyone I could ask for a meal or take-out. It seems like it might be a good idea to keep some easy non-queasy healthful food on hand but what should I put in my panrty? Help?

fresh food regularly how about -

oatmeal for porridge with blueberries (frozen)
    brown rice
frozen veg - broccoli, leeks, green beans etc.
    frozen berries, especially blueberries
    dried fruit
tinned tomatoes - to make pasta sauce

although most need cooking, they dont take long.

hope this helps and others have more suggestions for you.

    Hope your virus clears soon.

when I do not feel well. Even if it is from a can it tastes good & is quick if all I have to do is heat it up. I wish I could bring you some - I just made some homemade chicken noodle & my girls love it! One likes the broth & the other likes the homemade noodles. That you can even freeze in small containers.
