Hello Freddie! Hope U-R getting ready for another while
and fun weekend! Getting my leisure suit out of the
cleaners and polishing my saddle shoes! Gonna look real
sharp as usual. Know you will too! Can't wait to get out
with you somewhere and "cut a rug"! Should be a fun filled
    weekend for us.

leisure suit...maybe she thought you were going to where one of those plaid polyester ones...w/the wide collars...

the angles being quite in the city?

i was invited to come over and meet a friend of mine's old friend from michigan..but i am not up for it..i having some muscle spasms since yesterday.....

it's the weather i believe. i know it wasn't from over doing it w/my hot date cutting up a rug....

you weren't talking about a tupee...you know those rugs that cover up men's bald hair spots...on top of their heads...lol

    just kidding...

well cody is eating something for dinner at team dinner at someone's house...

i just put a hungry man dinner in the oven for..i dont' get that hungry when i don't feel well....i ate only one of those chopped steak dinners....i left the other one for cody...and the green beans/mushrooms....yummy...

no telling what he may get served tonight for dinner...

his team is play seaside from monteray area at novato high school...

i left my new jacket from costco at school today..the one that is weather proof...kinda mad at myself for that...

atleast the tutoring hall in computer lab was closing...

so i may get lucky and have it on monday...

well i need a nice hot bath and a hot man to massage out those kinks in my back and head...forget allover....

i have been forgetting to take my anit-depression pill in the morning for pain and emotional relief...i can barely take any meds at all..

sorry i am writing a story...ooh speaking of which my ex-brother-in-law has a book that is coming out soon published..he didn't have to pay anything...he is in his early thirties..and teaches in the english department at western university college..in kalamazoo, michigan...

so maybe he will give me nice autographed book...he gets to do some book touring and signings this spring...

all over in the u.s...my xmil couldn't remember the title..

aanyways...my friend that lives in tiburon just called and told me her old friend from michigan called and flaked on her....

she said her old friend is jealous of her...i said oh you going through a divorce...

well gonnn keep on cruising throught the board list..

still dealing w/cody's school teacher...she says she never taught that topic...but cody has paperwork...on it here at home...

well i was told not to mention that topic by someone on this board...

so that is why i am being vaque here...so monday i will be dealing w/school some more...and i will tell them what the teacher has told me...

and everything cody told me she denied ever saying...

cody said i have no reason to lie...

well talk to you later "K"

That sounds like that suit of mine exactly! Hey argyle
is back in Vogue. Don't know where I put those old
argyle sweaters from the Early Sixties! Couldn't believe
    that they came back!

Sorry you're not feeling well. Try to get some rest if
you can. Do you plan to come in to the City for the
Blue Angels air show Sunday? They were flying around
in practice today. Believe the weather is going to im-
    prove for the weekend.

Thought I would cook a romantic dinner for Fredericka
Tomorrow nite but haven't heard from her as of yet. Was
thinking perhaps of Italian food. S.F. sour dough French
bread maybe a fresh spinach salad dirctly from the Salinas
Valley and a large platter of Rigolleto! It would be like
a remake of that dinner scene from Lady and the Tramp!
Candle and all! What ya think!

I asume you are going to Cody's game tomorrow! Hope he
has as good a game as last weekend. Gotta go grate some
fresh Parmesan cheese for the dinner. Nothin like that
fresh cheese sprinlked on that Rigolleto. Hungry already.

    "Talk" later, "K"?
P.S. Did ya see Marta's Pic that she posted? Pretty

    just ask my son....

real garlic and real butter...saute in pan...an slice open that sour dough bread...and put in the oven...

i was thinking some italian gelato or tirusmu for dessert...or some dark chocolate truffles.... or dark chocolate coated strawberries...the dark chocolate is good for the heart and an added bonus aphrodiasac...did i spell it correctly?

well i am not too sure on the blue angels....

i can watch them from marin headlands or go to tiburon and watch them...

my friend is going w/her child and some family and friends..i need to stay focused on my health right now... and also...school...

i just need to force myself in a hot tub and pretend i have a massuesurs..i can't spell right now..

well i know you are makinig a grate dinner tonight and if that lady fredricka stands you up again...you'll just have to have the blue angels make a manuer to sign me your address in the sky as to where to meet you for dinner...

did you have a nice talk w/your daughter the other night? do you have he doing some investigating on fredricka...a little p.i. can't hurt...i don't want to see you on cheaters t.v. show getting your heart broken by this woman..

but then again shoot has made your computer nearly mealt when you photo came up...

i wonder if goose and iceman...maverick... are going to be putting on a show for me...

Don't blame you at all for wanting to stay closer to
home and on your side of the Bay this weekend. Lots of
Peeps are gonna be here and the treck across the Bridge
and then back may not be worth the aggrevation especially
    if you aren't feeling well!

Don't think I know the reference to "goose, iceman and maverick for some reason? Is it from a reality show! I
never watch 'em dealing with this reality is plenty for

    "talk" tomorrow,"K"?

my son was a tike and he used to love watching that over and over....

and one xmas/birthday...cody and i flew down to disneyland to celebrate my 30th and his 5th b-day together...his dad was in the uscg down in haiti and cuba...for the haitian uprising...

and the embezzling dentist i worked for wouldn't allow me vacation time off during the holidays....so i took my xmas bonus and we stayed at the disneyland hotel resort..

poor cody had an ear infection...i have great pics..he was such a trooper...luckily he had a p.e. tube in that ear so it didn't has as much pressure on the plane..

but funny story...cody being 5 and a little boy..had his airplanes toys and his imagination running wild...

he learned to always check for ice on the wings of the plane..

he did alot of us travel when he was younger when we were married especially..

well cody says to me well mom no ice on the wings...then he proceeded to tell me how when he grows up he wants to be a fighter pilot and shoot down the enemies...

this little younger lady than i...pipes up....i don't think it is appropriate for him to be talking like that...

i said he was talking to me...he is just 5 years old, his father is gone away in the military and if he wants to shoot down enemies to protect our freedom then he may do so for us...

she didn't say anything back after that...

i knew she never had a baby yet...

i hope she had 5, all of them boys.....

i noticed you did give me the xoxo's like you did fredricka...
that's ok because friends last longer than most marriages in california...

You're the greatest, Mr. Dad! I'll look forward to that spinach salad. Sounds yummy. I'll bet you got a whole vat-full of it for FREE, no two for one coupons needed!!

I'm just flattered that you like me THAT much!

Gee, what if you didn't like me? : - 8

If you want to cut up rugs wouldn't it be cheaper to stay home? I'll look for some old rugs for you, ok?

I'll post more on the latest Porch Light thread, alrighty?

I will say I'm in a major world of hurt so you might have to dump me for someone more able to go out. I'd be devastated to not get that lovely spinach salad though.

(Feel bad joking about the spinach, now. Just heard on FOX that someone else has died from eating it.)

I am so glad that you checked in with me and so sorry
that you have not been feeling well. Just knowing that
you may be "looking" in on us from time to time is re-
assuring! Enjoyed your Posts so much lst week and was
so happy that you fealt well enough to participate in
    real time!

Is that trip to the Coast with your Sisters for real or
a wished for event? Hope it's for real and you are feel-
-ing up to the trip. Guess I'll share that Rigolleto wiff
my housemates but I'll work on another recipe perhaps I'll
ask Anne for her "British Boiled Chicken" one that she
    does on occassion.

My Daughter has been busy with School and emailed me that
her Cell Phone died and won't have a new one 'til Monday.
Miss hearing her voice as we talk almost everyday.

Freddie, get back with us as you feel up to it and know
that everyone is concerned about you and enjoys your
contribution to the friendship and fun!

The trip WAS on. Now I had to tell both sisters today that I can't go. I'm devastated.

I really needed this getaway. But just can't do it now.

Will do it later on sometime!!

Thanks (as always) for thinking of me.

You ALL are super people, I hope you know.

I have to severely limit my time as typing is killer right now.

Take care and enjoy your Sat. night out without me. Sniff, sniff, boo, hoo, wah.....

I feel so so badly for you! I was so hoping you would
be well enough to go on that trip. Sounds as if you have
a wonderful Family and it is so awful that you are be-
ing deprived of seeing them bec. of this darn illness.
Can tell from your Posts that you are lots of fun as
well as intelligent. Thanks for checking in and letting
us know. As you well feel, we are all Family in spirit
    and good friends as well!

Hope you will be able to do it soon!

Hi mrdad. I was reading post and noticed you mentioned the Blue Angels are coming to town. My uncle was shot down in WW2 off of the Enterprise and was a MIA for year then POW til war over. Transition to 1947 and he was BOSS or squadron leader of quite new Blue Angels and was so for three years. this is big time our "family story". His story just came out this summer and is at Amazon. Check it out. From POW to Blue Angel. It is really a great book and really inspiring story. Just couldn't resist sharing this. Penny

---for sharing that with me! Sounds like a very interest
-ing story. Is your Uncle still living? So many of them
have passed on it's such a lost for us all. Do you know
off hand where he was shot down? There was a good book
written years ago entitled Pacific Theater WWII which
was a great general historical depiction of events in
the Pacific. Wasn't the Enterprise damaged signifi-
cantly in the battle of Mid-Way? Now I'm gonna' have
to re-read that account as well as look into the accts.
of your uncle. Those planes go much faster now, don't

Thanks again, and I sure your name is only an indication
of your modesty rather than your true worth!!

Well if my other message which I lost, didn't go to posting I will have to over again another time. Can't do it again right now.
I told you about my uncle. I will check later and see if beginning of story is there. He is called Dusty Rhodes and is 88 and lives in San Jose. thank you for asking. I now live in Colorado by the way. Penny

Hi mrdad. I can't do it all but I thank you for nice comment about my name. I sometimes used Tuppence in past. Then always said "At least I have a penny to my name and now it just sounds dumb.
He was shot down in Santa Cruz Islands. He was shot down on his first take-off of the carrier, though he did actually fight off a carrier in Korean War. Not sure about the Enterprise. I know there is stil one, but might be different one.
I lived in San Carlos from 4th grade til grown and having a daughter. Went to SF for celebrations after my high school proms, like the Fairmont and bay cruize. In the very olden times. sorry this message is coming backasswards. Don't know why I lost it. Penny

Been thinkin' of ya! Almost feel more sorry for your
Sisters as they I'm sure are very disappointed that
they are not seeing you. I'll bet you girls together
share lots of love and fun! Hope it does happen soon!

Thanks for your observation and reply to the Blue Angels.
I put up a separate Post to answer Penny and don't think
she has seen it yet. Please feel free to access it! Use
to go down to Burlingame a lot when I was a very youngin'
    to visit cousins! Pretty town!

Anyway, I thought the Enterprise was in the battle of
Mid-Way Island and when I Googled the Enterprise it
came up that way indeed! Her GF must have spent a mis-
erable few years as a prisoner of War. Lots of those
guys died of malnutrition and disease, probably more
than half. Read Pacific Theater World War Two that
was printed in the Early '60's. Lots of insight and
graphic discription of the Bataan Death March in the
Philippines! He also wrote one on the Atlantic Theator.

Are you mobile and able to get out and about? Hope that
you are doing well as you are too young to be dealing
with any of these illnesses. Get back as you can! Just
don't be "hitting" on my Fredericka Ron! Being finding
    you own models. OK?

    Your Friend,
