At last! She is nearly 18 and learning disabled, and Asperger's, and she has been practicing her driving.... Friday she took the test and PASSED. Drove for the first time by herself today. I was petrified watching her leave the driveway.

She will just be driving locally right now, and on the little roads here until we can get her skills and confidence up.

This will be so good for her self-esteem, she has earned it. I'm just very proud and wanted to share.

    Hugs to all,
    Michelle

My son just got his license in Dec. and he's 21!!! I paid for drivers lessons and the instructor knew the route the tester would take him on the same day. He was so happy as many of his friends had failed the first time.

He's an apprentice plumber and now he is able to drive to work with all his tools.

You're right really good for self-esteem.
