On another post, several people mentioned a Notepad program.

On my computer at work, I always used a notepad program and a "Cardfile" program. The cardfile was just kind of like looking at a Rolodex card where you could type names and addresses, etc. on.

I use Windows XP Home Edition if that helps.

Does anyone know where I can find these on my computer? or .. do I have to buy special software to get them?

Like Sydney said the Notepad is found under Accessories and you can make another shortcut and drag that down to your tool bar at the bottom where you have those tiny icons.

When I get on Windows I get on Win 2000. I think the cardfile went out with Win 95. I'm not sure, but I don't know if they still have that or not. If they have it, it should be under Accessories too.

I'm on a Mac so I don't get on Windows very often anymore.
