OT Talking Dogs

    My Dog calls me by my first name .Really it will call Ann when he wants something .I guess hes picked it up from my hubby. LOL

    No, you can't determine what he's saying, but I can tell what he wants by how he changes his voice. He's a two year old, 100 lb, black lab.
    He knows the difference between mama and papa (me and my hubby), and he articulates his voice differently if he wants water, food, outside, or is just begging.
    My late dalmation did the same thing. He was 13 when he passed, but he continued to hone his talking skills throughout his life. He was very good by the time he died. I think he taught the lab a thing or two beforehand.
