    - You go into withdrawals two steps away.

    - the computer is flanked by a bed, small frig, and port-a-potty.

    - the FM website is now your home page.

You know you are addicted to this message board when you've been here so long that you couldn't read the title of this post--looks like it is in secret code!!! LOL

The Post title words did not at first come out the way
I had set them up! Maybe they will accept it this way!

Your mouse really does eat all the crumbs next to the key- board and your doctor tells you, you gotta go to rehab because the keyboard is stuck to your fingers, and he can't precribe you anything to get it off! LOL

    Good One to start MrDad.

your dinner gets cold while you check all of the new messages since you've last been on.

you check Immune Support before your e-mail.

your spouse complains that you're spending more time on Immune Support than with her.

you're laying in bed and your computer screen etc is set up to be sideways in order to be more readable and ergonomic...

your dogs think the 'house' is under your desk...

your dogs heave a sigh and lay down disgustedly when they hear the dial-up sounds starting...

your computer chair multitasks as a (cushioned) porta-pottie...

you've set up your own coffee or tea 'station' complete with electric coffeemaker, and/or small refrigerator for cold drinks within reaching distance of your computer...

Nobody calls you anymore because your phone line is always busy.

Those are great contributions! Love the one about the
dog and also the Refrig etc. describes my room to a "T".

Hope your 're doing well. Haven't done that Lyme Ingenex
test yet but have All the Docs paper work for it. Just
haven't had the opportunity to get down to Palo Alto to
do the test. Hopefully next week.

Have a weekend that is good! OK?
MRDAD P.S. My Daughter with the Lyme is doing very
well. Starts Grad School in Ore. soon! She
    and her Kitty are happy.

I know how things get in the way of getting what are actually important things done... I honestly feel like I have ADD, never did before, I get distracted so easily. Hope you get there for the test sooner rather than later!

And I am so glad your daughter's doing so well. My son has held his own as far as weight gain, good pulse and BP now... just no real cognitive gains that I can see. Right now he's on a 'rest' of 3 weeks off abx then 1 week on, he's just completed the 2nd month, but I think he's starting to go downhill at this point again - increasing fatigue, pain, visual symptoms. If he continues to feel bad. next week.. I'll be calling the clinic and not waiting til the next app't in mid-October. Sigh. This is one heckuva disease to battle!

Have a good weekend too! I've been pulsing abx on the MP, has messed up my sleep schedule...

the majority of your thoughts are preceeded with....."someone on the cfs message board said....."

you plan on getting in the bathtub but want to just check the board "quick".....you swear it's only been a minute but the tub overflows and floods out the kitchen all while taking a "quick look" at the board (yep....TWICE :)

you wonder why your "mouse hand" is stiff all the time

people have to ring the bell just to get through (yep, dial up)

    funny post Mr. Dad
