finally let up at last. Had a GREAT 3 days; hubby and I had a great weekend together, the first one since before my cervical spine surgery which kicked in this horrid flare. I see the pain management specialist one week from today. I don't have any idea what to expect on my first visit but I am hanging on to what my PCP told me, he said he has been sending people to this doctor for over 10 years for both Fibro and CFS and he said Dr. Oliver has not failed in being able to help them. So, that sounds pretty good to me.

In fact, I feel so good, I think I am going to try to work a little bit today. I have missed working and Lord knows our finances reflect the loss of my income from transcription. Gonna take it nice and slow though, not gonna go in like I am running a marathon, I thik that is one thing I need to learn; to pace myself. Yesterday I was trying to clean the house from top to bottom and do a week's worth of laundry and all that. John stopped me in my tracks and told me, slow down, let me help you get it all done, pace yourself so you don't throw yourself into another flare, hang onto the good period you are having now. What a great hubby I have. :) So together we got quite a bit done but stopped short of dusting the ceiling..... I feel so good, I want to shout it from the roof tops!!!! Not gonna worry about how long this good period is gonna last, just gonna enjoy it to the max. :)

Glad you are feeling so much better; as you said, take it slow so you can hang on to this great feeling! Also glad you have found a good doctor to go to.

Keep doing well, my fingers are crossed for you!

been really bad. I was getting so depressed from it all despite being on anti-depressants. There seemed to be no end in sight but as everyone keep telling me, and this too shall pass. I guess it does eventually but when you are in the grips of a horrid flare, it is hard to believe that you will ever feel better again.

    Thanx again!!

imagine the strain of working in NICU and all the heartache.

Glad to hear you applied to the service I do work for. It may take a couple of days for someone to get back with you. If you haven't heard anything by the end of the week, let me know and I can give you some 800 numbers to call. Also the set up takes quite a while as well. With DSL connection, if I remember right, the set up over the phone took about 4 hours installing everthing and getting all the settings just right. But once you get set up and going, they are a great service to work for and the support is excellent.
