I don't usually suffer much from pain symptoms (besides headache) but starting a couple of days ago I am aching all over but especially my back and feet and legs.

It's awful. Is this what fibro pain feels like? I thought I only had CFS. If this is what you people put up with every day then I feel so sorry for you.

Tylenol and Ibuprofen don't even touch the pain! What does?

Yes I have that probem every day not to mention arms hands shoulders to. I take vicodin for the pain and all it does is take the edge off. The doc said he could give me something stronger that would diminish the pain more but I still need to be able to drive. So I take the vics only when I know I don't have to drive anywhere.

I hate to tell you but it sounds like fibro pain to me....Mine started behind my legs and knees. Thats when I was still very active at the gym...Not now ..and the pain didnt go away but will move around from time to time. It seems to be worse in the a.m. and if I take something strong I am groggy all I have vicodin and try tylenol..nothing helps but it seems to ease up as the day wears on...good luck I know there are pain relievers that help alot of people!

Have you taken any antibiotics recently--especially any of the fluroquinolones? They can cause the pain you are experiencing.

Yeah hate to say it but sounds like fibro pain to me. I was diagnosed (my spelling stinks HEHE) over 3 years ago. My pain started in shoulder blade and neck area. Then it went into lower back and the last 8 months has gotten to my legs and feet. I have been to specialists and all of them tell me the same thing. FIBRO. I take Narco (which has less tylonol then viacadin) diazapam (vallium) thru the day. NO it dont kill the pain but it makes life liveable. Another thing is trazadone at night as Dr have told me a good night sleep is a big key.
This is my first day on this web and I will say I wish I would have found it years ago for the support and answers.
God Bless and hang in there.
A really info book for me has been 'The Fibromyalgia Advocate' by Devin J. Starlanyl M.D
