    Anyone have any suggestions about what is better... resting or doing lite excersise duing a flareup? I'm going to try some water therapy. Thank!!

    I find that frequent light exercise works best. Work out for five or ten minutes - whatever you can tolerate - several times a day. Getting up and moving seems to help me feel better. I don't really know why. I also seem to feel less tired that way. On bad days, when I come home from work I'll do the stairstepper for 5-10 minutes 3 or 4 times between 6:00 and 10:00, and I lie down and rest in between. Usually the next day I feel better than I would have if I did nothing. Also, if you have access to a hot tub it really helps relax you so you can sleep better.
