I have had electroconduction studies on two different occasions, and found them so painful that I was in tears by the end of the proceedings. I would add that I am not a wimp when it comes to pain, but electrical shocks are exquisitely painful for me. I have cervical arthritis which is causing nerve issues and referred pain down my arms, along with weakness. Is there anyone else out there who has found these tests to be as awful as I have found them? I feel so embarrassed by this, but the thought of having to go back and have them repeated fills me with dread.

Welcome to our website. If you go to the Fibromyalgia,CFIDS board, you might get more responses. You can get there in the upper left-hand corner of this page. Good luck.
