PatPalmer - sea salt conundrum

    I got the Redmond RealSalt that Mikie uses. I'd put 1/4 tsp in 2 quarts of water and drink that combined with regular water throughout the day.

    After several days of that, I started using it on my food in place of regular salt. Within a couple days, it's like I couldn't STAND the taste of it, not even for drinking. It was like a visceral reaction. I'd guess that my body was telling me I was getting too much or something. Maybe I should go back to just drinking 1/4 tsp and using table salt for cooking. Or something. (Oh yeah, I was going to try that before posting this, but I forgot.)

    Do you have any thoughts on this? I have no clue who I'd ask except maybe a general post or the "Sea Salt Guru". :)

    Definately not if you have developed a sensitive taste AND hate it. But, not to worry there is an alternative.... (((Cellfood concentrate.)))

    I have only just started using this, all you do is add 8 drops to a glass of mineral water 3 times a day, and drink...

    the original cellfood can be used IN PLACE of sea salt. I too do not think additional sea salt is doing all it could and my stomach has settled more since cutting it back down again.

    So for all those who find sea salt irritates the stomach or who hate this taste here's a viable option. Would be great if you're right it makes it even more potentially helpful for those as seriously ill as Paulmark.

    I thought I must be using it wrong, or something, since I've never seen anyone post a problem to it. (I could "stand" the taste when I was just drinking it, though I didn't get to *like* it as some people seem to.)

    I'll print out your reply as soon as I get my dang printer working again....

    Thanks for so willingly sharing your knowledge! (Though I have to say, between you Klutzo, JellyBelly and CookiemMonster I've sure been using more paper lately. :)
