Is it possible for a 6 year-old Pediatric Fibromyalgic to have appendicitis-like pain episodes with high fever, from Active Trigger Points in the lower right abdominal quadrant? Acute Appendicitis has been ruled out in emergency several times. I can explain the pain, but not the fever. Any ideas?

Looked for some kind of infection? Fevers are usually the immune system's attempt to fight off infections. They can be localized or systemic. You need to get to the root of the cause of the pain and fever. Good luck to you.
