Does anyone have any coping tricks to move thru these natural parts of life with these DDs. I am taking Evening primrose and Flax oil and that worked marvelously for PMS.. but now, I am about to transition into perimenopause and wonder if any of you have "tried and true" remedies for this stage of life.. I know about soy products, but would like to know what other natural products may be effective...I am not going to take Hormone Replacement Therapy.. Thank you for the help.....LOL, AMELIA

You might want to include vitamin E to what you are taking. It is a great help also. Just be sure you get the natural E, not the synthetic.

I made it without the HRT too. After all the exposure about it, I am glad I did not take it!

What I found was the worst part was the night sweats along with the poor sleeping from the Fibro too.

You might also want to try taking ZMA, it seem to help with the night sweats as well as deep sleep . Since Fibro causes the sweats, it made that worst for me.

    Good luck!

Dear Shirl, Thank you for the info on perimenopause, etc. About how long did it take for you to cross over to menopause? I have heard that some people take natural progesterone, but I tried that a while back and I did not respond well to it.. Thanks for the help...AMELIA

    Hi,
I am now trying soy, for the third time. I took black cohosh. I couldn't tell any difference. I am taking something over the counter for menapause. I am 47. I suffer with hot flashes bad. Have been for a long time. I have tried a herbal tea for menapause. I don't know if it works or not. I have about given up on controlling the hot flashes. I take a aniexty med. now. I researched it, and it is suppose to help controll your body temperature. NOT YET FOR ME. I HAVE BEEN TAKING IT OVER A YR. I wish you good luck. If you find anything that works for you, please let me know. ladyredrose921@msn.com

She is a good gynecologist-specialist, and I like the way she approaches problems..I am reading two of her books and if I find out anything that helps I'll let you know..but I think that the flax/primrose oil helps normalize the female hormone/prostaglandins so you might want to add that if you are not on it now..It really helped PMS.. AND NATURAL VIT.E as Shirl stated.. LOL, AMELIA
