After you see a bug, does your every little itch for the next few minutes spark a reaction of: "Oh no! There's a bug on me! They're everywhere!" and then you catch yourself thinking they're all over you and you tell yourself you're just being silly?

Does everybody get the 'see a bug, feel like there's bugs on you' reaction? Just now my leg is itching. I know it's from a computer cord brushing my ankle. But I checked it for spiders anyway, because there's a spider on the ceiling now, and I wonder if he's got company. Some of the time that little crawly feeling really HAS been a bug on me, so I like to be sure.

    ((ah, Spring!))

It's funny you should say that. I am always itchy, but when I see a bug, I itch worse and think to myself: Maybe that's what it is!!!

and they are common in lyme disease , and also in mycoplasma infections .

Not certain, but I suspect that the pathogens are in the spinal fluid and causing nerve irritation .
