I have been having incredible ear aches recently and was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if it could be connected to fibromyalgia.
The pain goes from right inside my ear down my jawbone and around the muscles in my neck. I've had earaches before but not like this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Just one possibility...

I kept complaining to my doctor about my earaches. I thought for sure I had an ear infection, but I didn't. He said "go see your dentist."

I did. It was my upper wisdom teeth. When I had them removed, the earaches stopped.

I agree, you should see the dentist if your doc can't find out what is wrong. I had all of my teeth impacted, but I was a 18/19 year old. You need to see your regular doc first to rule out infections and then if he can't find anything out do see your dentist for x-rays.

    Hope you will feel better!

I tried homeopathic ear drops from Eclectic Institute. It contains mullein, St John's wort flower and fresh certified garlic bulb oil. I put 10 drops in each ear 3x a day. The pharmacist recommended the product. It worked for me. I had pressure and achiness. Good tips on here to see the dentist. I never thought of that. Im due for a dental checkup too. Im going back to see the Nose, Ear & Throat Specialist. I had nasal polyps last year and I was saved with glutathione nasal spray. I didnt need surgery thanks to the glutathione. It seems that we are prone to inflammation. I try to incorporate a diet with the spice tumeric as it is an anti-inflammatory. I add turmeric to soup, eggs, meats, etc. Curry spices are good too. They make you sweat and thats a good thing. Ive cut out all dairy products as they simply create mucous in our bodies. Sugar is another bad culprit.

They can rule out certain things like cancer. Then go to the dentist to be sure it isn't TMJ. I have TMJ and arthritus in that joint. I go to a specialist dentist for it and wear a splint day and night. It helps alot.

You could have a mastoid. In time this could spread to your brain. Hope it isn't this, but please get to doctor and make sure they check you really well.

I agree with the others that you should get this checked out.
However, I wanted to say that I find Traumeel ear drops very helpful. I have used them many times and they clear up the problem quite quickly.

I/ve had recurrent ear aches that go down my neck and are extremly painful. I finally found wild oregano and olive oil. It really burns at first but works wonders. Of course, you end up smelling like pizza but it's worth it. Just make sure that the sourcefo the oregano is reputable.
