Hi. I'm also posting this on the Fibromyalgia board. I didn't have my lyme test done by igenex. The only thing that showed up "Present-High" was the P66 band, which to my understanding is borrelia burgdorferi? My question is, has anyone else had this result, and what did their doctor say? Did your doctor treat you for lyme and say you have it? My primary doctor said everything was normal and negative, so I'm getting a second opinion with an infectious disease doctor, but can't get in to see her for a whole month. That whole month is going to drive me absolutely crazy. Can anyone give me their experiences with this?? Greatly appreciated

    Hi,

I know you already read my post on the FM board, so I won't repeat it here.

Keep in touch and keep pushing for an answer.

Let me know if I can help you.

Thank you so much. I haven't been feeling all that great for the past week. Don't know if I'm stressed about getting answers about this lyme test, or having a fibro flare, or what. Just feel so exhausted and pain. I'm very greatful for your help. I can't remember, do you have Lyme?

    Yes, I have lyme.

It was called fibromyalgia for 21 years. My symptoms fit fibromyalgia exactly, but fibro is just a name for a set of symptoms when Dr's don't recognize the cause.

I did my own research to find the CAUSE of the fibromyalgia symptoms and I discovered I had a chronic borrelia burgdorferi infection.

There are many people with an undiagnosed borrelia infection and associated coinfections who have been misdiagnosed with things like FMS, CFS, MS, RA, Parkinsons, Alzheimers, lupus, ADHD, autism, psychiatric disorders, and many other illnesses.

It is an unrecognized epidemic. Have you heard of the movie "Under Our Skin"?

Watch for a showing in your community. It is about the Lyme disease epidemic and how the mainstream medical community denies it's existence. It is fantastic.

Copies may also be purchased from Open Eye Pictures. I bought one to do community education.
