I came down with a virus in jan. of this year that was said to be mono. Within a couple weeks I was basically bedridden unable to sit or stand for more than a few minutes without major flareups. I've been in and out of the hospital and ER' and have seen multiple specialist including neurologist, endocrinologist, allergist, and internist in the last months. All say I am perfectly healthy. I have tried accupuncture, Physical Therapy, chiropractic, and now am doing massage therapy. Yet here I am after 10 months, unable to sit or stand for more than 10-15min. at a time, and no more than 45-60 min. per day. When I do over do it I get muscles spasms, mainly in my back and neck and shoulder primairly on my right side. I have extrememe fatigue in my whole body, I get vertigo symptoms and I lose the awareness or feeling in my body, especially my limbs. The only thing I can relate this too is CFS, with some autonomic neuropathy thrown in. Also when I go to sleep at night, i have this feeling over energy surging through my whole body. I"m really starting to wonder what is wrong with me and if I will ever have any hope to recover from what is going on with my body. I'm 32 years old and have been perfectly healthy in my life until this came on. Has anyone ever been this bad off with CFS or some other realted illness. Would appreciate any suggested therapies or suggestions. Thanks for listening.

I broke my back in an accident and within six months was diagnosed with lupus. I am convinced that illness and trauma can lower your immune system to start ailments that may have been dormant.

You have been to many doctors, but I see you haven't been to a rheumatologist. The article below discusses Fibro and CFS and finding a doctor and recommends seeing a rheumatologist for CFS. Good luck and hugs.

Oh sweetie I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. Sounds like fibromylgia to me. I had been a suffer as well. Most doc just didn't know what was wrong with me, the pain was crazy! Pills was there answer. Long story short I did pleanty of research and went to a clinic in South Lake Tahoe - Paul Whitcomb D.C. Spent so much money on a treatment which does not last as he claims it does. But did further research and found a balancing treatment on my Atlas (which they believe that your atlas is slightly misaligned). It has TRULY given me my life back fully. NO more pain - my fatigue is about 2 -5 %. Hey way way better than feeling like I was 105 years old! Tried to the bone for me was the only way to describ myself.

I will give you the web-site and keep you in my prayers.
