Because I had surgery and my husband took a week off to take care of me I am late with my rent.I have most of it but not all.We live in a housing Authority and I was behind before and signed an agreement not to be late again.Well now I'm late.I called and talked to them but they are going to bring me to court.

I am going to try and call the lawyer tomm.and the commissioner who i am on good terms with next week he is on vacation.I will have all my rent on friday.I have four kids and finances have been awful.I don't have any family that will help or friends that can.

I have started watching a friends daughter for an extra amount a week but it's not much. And against doctores orders.

Please pray I can work something out and keep my apartment once i get this month paid I can get back on track.
right now I have no cable or sattellite and shut off notices but my main concern is keeping my rent.

    Thank You
    God Bless

Do you go to church? Can you maybe ask them for help this month?

Lord Jesus, when you told us how to pray you said that we should ask for our daily bread. We ask you today to supernaturally protect and provide for Luann's needs today. Please give her favor with the housing Authority and let them show her mercy as they wait for her rent money. I pray that you would lay it on the hearts of those who know Luann whether neighbors or friends to give her food or money to meet her needs. Please open up the hearts of those around her to help her and her children today.
    Love, Monkeykat

First, just because your landlord is taking you to court does not mean you will be evicted. The Landlord is just presenting their case to the judge, who after hearing the landlords side of the story and yours, will make a decision on the eviction. Honestly, I have never seen a judge give an eviction notice on someone who was making an honest effort to get the rent paid, especially someone with your circumstances.

Also, have you gone to the United Way, they help people with rent, utilities, food, and other things. They also have knowledge of other agencies you could go to for help. Also, see if you can get assistance form the Department of Social Services.

I know there are agencies out there to help, it just might take some time looking for them.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
