My 28 yr old neice (by marriage) whom I will call "24_7". She has lived with emotional & financial deprivation all her life. She also knows God and has 3 children.

Because she didn't want to live on her own she was living with someone who connected her with some bad people who got her involved into a illegal get rich quick scheme. Exactly one week after she got involved she wound up in jail with a possible 15-30 yr sentence! She is so young!

A lawyer won't even represent her unless someone comes up with $20,000 cash first! None of us have that kind of cash available.

The court date is tomorrow. Lots of her unsupportive family members will be going to sit in on the hearing. I believe they are mainly going to watch the "show".

Please pray for for this child.

I'm so sorry to hear about what your neice is going through, she is so young. My heart goes out to her.

I will certainly be praying for her.

I will be praying for your niece today. I`m so sorry she got mixed up with this bad crowd and is in trouble because of it. Praying that she can get a second chance and gets her life straighted out.

Yes, I do care for this child. I want to cry for her.

She grew up with a alcoholic mother who was never ever there for her. The mother never gave this child or the other syblings any kind of love. When she was 15 (along with younger siblings aged 11 & 14), she was kicked out the house because the mother did not want them anymore.

The mother never bothered with her or the other siblings unless they had money. And it has carried on all of their young lifes.

I believe this has lead to this child getting into this illegal get rich quick scheme.

Thanks so much to everyone who replied & prayed when reading this post. And most of all thanks for your continued prayers for her.

Everyone is entitled to legal representation. It may not be the best, but it is better than nothing. The court should be appointing an atty. for her.

I keep you all in my prayers and ask God to help her and especially her children.

    Love, Mikie

Thanks, Mikie. The kids are already in good hands. But I know they will still be concerned about their Mom.

I just heard a little bit about what went on in court today.

They lessened "24_7's" bail to $5,000. The first price I heard of was mega bucks.... So now it looks like there is some kind of hope to be found.

Please pray for some sort of turn around (for the better) in her mind and life regarding the Lord's way.

Thank you all here at the Worship Messege board for all your prayers! You guys are the absolute best!

    Win XOXOXO!

I want to thank you all for your prayers for my neice. (I say this with a big lump in my throat.) She was released 1 month later on bail for only $250 which her lawyer paid for!

However, just before my neice went in to jail she just received her tax back money which came to around approximately $2000, (I think she said). She was all happy and thought she was going to go to the bank and get money out for a really nice meal. When she got to the bank she found out her mother had drained her account! Her mom got a hold of her bank card and pin while she was in jail.

My neice even thought her mother had bailed her out but found out later it was her lawyer. When she asked her mother why she didn't do it, her mother said she didn't have that kind of money! However, she went away on a trip immediately after her daughter was released from jail and her mom made up some kind of story about why my neice should stay away from the rest of the family.

My neice ignored her mom and found out from her other family members that her mother & her youngest sister had spent all her money going to the casino! Plus, my neice's babies father started sending support cheques in the total amount of $900+ and her mom cashed them and spent them!

Please continue to pray for this neice as she has to go back to court the beginning of June. She is really upset and doesn't know where to turn (she doesn't have an emotionally supportive family) and it seems I am helpless to do anything to help her.
