earlier today....I'm gonna miss him so much....now he is with the Lord! I have Fibro/CFS and my mum is totally stressed...we are unsure of our financial future etc...
Please remember us in your prayers and praise God with me that at the end of this unexpected massive heart attack (4 days to hell and back) at age 53 my dad went peacefully with mum and me at his side. I need to know people will pray for us to help us face the future without my wonderful dad and my mum's beloved, cherished husband. He also leaves two nieces and a nephew who he treated like his own(they have the same father as each other but the father is totally uninterested in being a father to them!)They will also need to be surrounded by God's love as they come to terms with this - they are really struggling.
    Thanks Shelbo

I am so sorry about the death of your father. Mine went home to the Lord about 7 years ago, 6 weeks short of my parents 50th wedding anniversary.

He was a wonderful man of God, and I still miss him though that acute pain of loss has dimmed.

I will pray for your family as they work through their grief and that grace and the comfort of God's love will be a balm to their hearts.

    Dear Shelbo

I am so sad to hear about your Dad - and so young too. (He was only two years older than me). This is going to be hard for you and your Mum.

For now, although I know you will need to in some ways, try to put down worries about the future and finances etc. God will provide for those who trust in him. Just concentrate now, with your Mum, on exploring your grief, mourning your Dad and giving him the kind of send off you'd like for him.

I praise God that you were able to see him die peacefully and that you know and trust he is with our precious Lord who has welcomed him into his beautiful kingdom. God gives you his love and comfort at this time and understands your sadness.

My Dad died after four years of ill-health in 1997 and it was a hard time for us all but also a relief. I still miss him but I know he's in a better place.

Take care of yourself and your family - you will find comfort in each other, although you are likely to respond to your grief in different ways, which is quite normal.

God bless Shelbo - I am really upholding you and your family to God at this time.

    Love, prayers and a hug

Please accept my "Deepest Sympathy" on the loss of your father - I will pray that everything will eventually work out financially for you and your family........

I can only imagine how you must feel being quite young yet and loosing your Dad - I was 42, married, and had my son, but I thought I lost my world when my Dad died - I was always a "Daddy's girl" growing up.........

Remember the good times, mememories, that is what helped me the most...To this day, and it's been 8.5yrs since my Dad passed, I think about him daily, or see something that reminds me of him.........
I am now in the process of loosing my Mom too, anytime, anyday........
So sorry, I got off on myself here, it was not my intention, I just wanted to offer my Deepest Sympathy and prayers for all concerned........

    Take Care......God Bless.....Love, Donna
