Does anyone know of any over the counter or natural remedies for a sinus infection. I have a friend who is pregnant and can't take the prescription drug she was given... any ideas on something that would help get rid of it but not harm the baby? Thanks!

I can't take the prescribed drugs for sinus either, but I can take OTC Tylenol Sinus, use a warm mist vaporizer with a pinch of salt in the water, AND drink plenty of water.

She can also try a salt and warm water nose drops, a pinch of salt to about 2 ounces of warm water.

Be sure to ask the pharmacist if its alright to take the Tylenol sinus since she is pregnant.

I also put an ice pack on the painful area, it helps a great deal.

Sure hope she gets rid of this.

    Shalom, Shirl

available at health food stores. Can be dropped into the nasal passages while laying on the bed and hanging your head off the bed. Helps clear up infection. Also, moist heat packs help to loosen up the congestion.
