    Hello All,

I have a question for you. My husband has a good job and makes good money, he also has had really good medical (prescriptions) coverage but as of 3/1/07, it changed dramatically. I'm on 4 meds. Armour Thyroid $15.00, Simvastatin for High Cholestrol, (about $75.00 Generic for Zocor), Wellbutrin XL 300mg for depression, and Anxiety, $175.00, and lastly Topamax 200mg for my FM, $210.00, cost per month for insurance company. So before 3/1/07 I used to be pay $7.00 per prescription = $28.00 yes I could hardly believe it either what coverage huh.

Well now it is a going to cost me at least $20.00-50.00 for each generic med, and probally $100.00 for each brand name med, so figure I went from $28.00 a month for all four, to at least $240.00-$300.00. I will never be able to afford that. Do you know if there are any programs out there be able to help. I would appreciate any info.

for a Patient Assistance Program, you must not have any prescription coverage through insurance or a government program. Also, each program has different income requirements. Do a search for "Patient Assistance Programs" to find out more.

Check out on the internet, the "UNA CARD" or FreeDrugCard (same card).

If you already have health insurance prescription coverage, you can still use this card (I believe). It is Free, NO CHARGE, gives a decent discount.

    Hope this can help you.
