We have lived in Chico now since June. There is a shortage of PCPs here as Sacramento is so close and several doctors have been hired as hospitalists and given up outside practice.

So, I want a good doctor. Just inquiring if anyone has any one lives here or near here and has a doc that is good.

Thanks so much for your replies.

I still have my doctor in Eureka and go there every few months so he keeps my prescriptions going...needing a doc here. Any help you have is very much appreciated.

I see James Carter. He has a few patients with FM/CF. He was the only doctor who got my BP regulated. It took seeing him every 2 weeks for almost a year but he did it. If the treatment you are doing now is working he'll let you stay on it. One thing I like about him is he is not a pill pusher and avoid narcotics for pain. There is another doctor in the office that is a pain specialist.

I will see what I can learn about him..check out where he is, etc. in the phone book. I appreciate your suggestion. The pain doctor sounds like a maybe, too.

Thanks again. Do you live in Chico? How long have you live here? Happy here?

    Happy Thanksgiving,

    Hi Sue,

I first moved to Paradise in the early 70's then down here to Chico. I'm not sure how long I've been here but long enough to " I remember when" stuff maybe 25 years. I do like it but lke every where else it is changing and we have to get use to it - some good changes and some not so good. I think we're the only one here that doesn't lock their doors when we go any where. LOL And I like the changing seasons.
