There is a grocery store in my area that runs ads for Buy one get one free. Only problam is that they require both items to be exactly the same.

So if they have beef roast on sale for the buy one get one free and chuck steaks on sale buy one free you have to pick out 2 beef roasts instead of one roast and a chuck steak.---even if they are the same price.

I recently sent an e-mail to them, stating that they need to change that policy because most people are on a very tight budget when it comes to food, cleaning products & misc needs.

I wonder if I will get a reply back.

The next time beef roast is on sale as buy one get one free and you want steaks as well. You can buy the 2 beef roast and cut one of them as steaks. If the meat department is open ask them if they will run the beef roast through the slicer and make steaks out of it and put the original tag back on.
