Protonix and Neuropathy in Feet

I have a question. I have CFS and Fibro. Ever since I got sick 12 years ago I have had the burning pain in my feet, especially noticable at night. Regular pain killers do not help.

Wednesday I got very sick with what the doctor says is probably a bad stomach virus and prescribed 5 days of Protonix, another drug to relax the cramping, and suggested trying Gas-X. Well, to be perfectly frank, I think only time will take care of this baby because nothing helps and the diarrhea and stomach pain is with me and I cannot tolerate the thought of food and have forced myself to drink chicken broth and tea and sips of water and an occasional popsicle or piece of dry toast. My "gut" feeling is that this will pass eventually.

My question is this: ever since starting the Protonix on Wednesday morning I have absolutely no burning or pain in my feet and they seem to move better. Anyone with CFS/Fibro ever experience this phenonomen?

Thanks in advance for you replies.
