    Hello all
I have checked the past posts for an answer to my question, but did not see anything pertaining to my specific concern. Last April, I had an MRI, for headaches and vomiting, when it came back, the report said I had a 7mm lesion, in the white matter, (left frontal lobe, aka Corpus Callosum). The neurologist did not seem to concerned at first, he said he would continue to see me for "tension" headaches, and, that it WAS possible that I was developing MS, but it was too early to tell. My last visit, July 31st, he diagnosed Trigeminal Neuralgia (OUCH!!!) and then said he wanted to schedule an MRI when I come back in November, which will be 7 months from my last MRI, as he likes to have them at least 6 months apart. My question is, has anyone else had a lesion, and then had a clear MRI? For that matter, has anyone else here had a lesion? If so, did you have more on a follow-up MRI? I have fibro, CFS,TMJ, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Tardive dyskenesia (thanks to SSRI's and phenergan long term use) Malignant Hyperthermia,IBS, bladder spasms, hypothyroidism, pancreatic dysfunction, pancreas divisum, and "enlarged" ovaries, and a cyst on the left one (2.2cmx2.5cm) which I will be seeing a specialist for on the fourth. I continue to have worsening pain and symptoms, with periods of relief being non-existant this year, compared to a four month vacation of most of these illnesses last year. I am worried about my upcoming MRI in November, and worried about MS. I'm 24 years old, and response is GREATLY appreciated.

My husband was diagnose around l5 years ago. He didnt have any lesions on the brain then, just on other parts of his body. He was diagnosed with a MRI, then a spinal tap test. And his symptoms.

He recently had another MRI, and something did show up on the brain, a lesion.

Maybe ask the doctor more questions, or have more testing done. Get a second opinion.

I was just speaking with a new friend on this matter, white matter that is, in the brain that my MRI last Nov. showed that I too have a lesion or 3. The dr. who read my findings said it was probably a demyelinating disease, ie, lyme, MS, or well, who knows, he did not say it, but
fibro. I have read in Fibro Handbook that lots of
fibro patients have the mysterious white matter, but as far as lesions, I was told it was were your nerves got sizzled by heavy doses of pain messages from the body, to the brain. I may be totally off base, but I think we are suffering from such a grand scale pain, all over intense pain, that our nerve pathways to the brain, get traffic jams have you and after running the wires(nerves)hot, lesions appear. I'm only guessing at what its going on in my head. Funny though, I feel just as comfortable giving you advice as a fellow sufferer with an MRI that said outright, you have atrophy in the brain, you have nerve damage, or lesions scar tissue on nerve pathways. Basically what my MRI states is: the patient is sick, and he is probably not exaggerating about serious pain and neurological troubles since the onset.
I am now 5 yrs. into this hooribleness and my faith in Christ is all I have. Drs. are great for meds and this message board is great for support, but I really get my everyday "let's not give up,: strength from my Faith. I pray for you and hope you find ways to cope, love is the best way I've found! I'm 31 yrs. old and have been cut down to an aging 60 yr. old. My body is falling apart and I need to reverse it or it will take me down sooner than I want. MRI is the best thing we have going right now for sufferers to get something to back up their complaints on pain and stiffness. God Bless You! sincerely, Nathan PS Don't give up

There are lesions on my brain MRI as well. They are due to the mercury built up in our brain.
