question about canning tomatoes???

    Alaska 3355 I tried your oven tomatoes and they turned out great ,but I have about a 1/2 inch of clear liquid at the bottom of each jar ,is that o.k.?
    all of the jars sealed and look fine, thanks for the easy oven method. sixtyslady

    I used to have that too- now I've started packing in my tomatoes a bit tighter, so that they make some juice. But the clear liquid is fine and won't affect the taste at all. I hope you like them!

    I thought that the liquid would be o.k.. it,s alot easier to do them the oven way.so thanks for the info.

    I still have butternut and acorn squash to get in .its suppose to be in the 40,s here tonight seems kind of early for the 40,s.
