I would like to know if anyone has had trigger point injections. went to doc yesterday, and she said that if i can't stand the pain anymore she would do the injections. I have been in a major flare for about a month. I can't take pain meds, do to kidney problems. Just wondering if the injections help and how long do they last. thankyou

I'd like to know the answer to this, too --- I'm also in a major flare with CMP right now, and wish I could find a good doc....

I have been getting the about every 2 weeks since September in my lower back, neck and shoulders...NEVER AGAIN!
You realize we are all different...for me they have just been awful! My doc keeps telling me it will get better but it dosen't. When I get them I am so a deep bruise sore...for over a week and then I return to my baseliine.

For me it is not worth feeling so bad for a week to go back to how I normally feel for a week and then do it all over again.

I got some on Monday...they were by far the worse which has finally made me say no more.

As we are all different and I know they have helped some I would say try them.
