Just hoping someone knows exactly whats in each of these meds.? If one can tolerate vicoden,..should they be ok taking percocette?
are they in the same family of narcotics?
    Thanks :)

Vicodin is a combination of Hydrocodone (schedule 3 narcotic) and acetaminophen. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone (schedule 2 narcotic) and acetaminophen. Percocet is stronger and potentially more addictive. With me, that translated to making me more sleepy, but it does work on more severe pain than Vicodin.

    Best of luck!

I was asking for a friend whoes having oral surgery soon.
Shes fine taking vicoden and was just comparing the two because I guess percocette is what this dentist/surgeon prefers to give after such a procedure.
    I'll tell her~
    Thanks again :)
