    Hi Ladies,

Almost two years ago I was told I had 2 lumps in my left breast. They performed a biopsy and said they are both benign but called Fibroadenomas (Sp?) At this time they informed me I had clips put in marking the lumps and I would have to have these followed up every six months.

Well to be honest I have since moved to Indiana and finding new Doctors is so overwhelming and I get lost going to Indianapolis. I live about 35 minutes east. A few months ago my left breast mainly has started a irritating feeling like a deep itch I can't get too deep in the tissue. My right breast has felt this way at times but not much. I am scared it could be a sign of cancer. I have a mammogram scheduled Feb. 2 at the Breast Center in Indianapolis but I couldn't begin to tell you where that is LOL.

My husband is familar with Indy but while he works he can't be on the phone. He's a welder and its for safety reasons since he is on production. He doesn't like me going over there by myself but I can't put this off any longer. I am wondering if anyone has ever had this feeling before. Thanks for your help.

P.S. Sorry if this is on the wrong board?

Hi, I was just wondering how long ago this was you had the mammogram. I was not aware I had the fibroadenomas until I had went to the hospital for having chest pains and they performed a chest xray. My brother was going off for Iraq and it was hard on me and family.

I didn't know anything other than the xray turned out ok so they released me. A few days later the ER Doctor called for me on my cell and he said they had detected lumps in my breast and a abnormal mass in my upper right lung. This has worried me alot but he told me the mass in my lung could be from the surgery I had on my stomach when I was a child. Maybe scar tissue built up.

Moving was a good thing but leaving behind all of my doctors was a huge leap for me to take and I am in the process of trying to get all new specialist. It's so hard.

Thanks for giving me some different ideas to look into. I hope you have a follow-up soon as well. Keep us posted. Hugs, Lendy
