    Hi All:

Yesterday, when I stood up suddenly, my knee just about gave out and the pain was horrible. When I got home I noticed that there was swelling on the inside of the knee at the tender point.

For those of you who have had knee pain, is swelling a normal part of the tender point flaring up?

    I'd appreciate your feedback.

After having a total of 4 knee surgeries I know a thing or two about the knee. Did you notice a click/pop/or tear noise when this happened?? I'm only 27 and know everytime I tear a new piece of cartilage in my knee from the sound then 3 days or so of pain and swelling.

Since I have developed this DD, I have terrible knee pain. No swelling or popping, just constant pain.

The worst is when I bend down to pick something up, or whatever. That just kills me!! And walking up and down stairs is no picnic, either!! Gotta love it.

Like the previous poster said, you probably should have that checked. PG
