I was going to buy Olive Oil at Costco today, but I didn't because the bottle said it was a blend of refined and extra virgin olive oil. Does that still mean it is a good thing?

I have heard of cold press olive oil-but it is way more expensive. I can get 2 3 litres of the blended olive oil at Costco for $ 21.00.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The cook on local TV here that prepared a fantastic saute of vegetables used in a yummy salad, insisted that consumers use extra virgin Olive Oil and mentioned nothing about a "blend." Our supermarket aisle on Olive Oil has exploded into a large section of Olive Oil, so read labels.
