I have decided that my family Dr. isnt cutting it when dealing with my problems. I am going to a specialist that I found recommended on Devin Starlanyl's web site. What are some questions that I might want to ask him, or what things do I need to make sure he is finding out.

    Thanks for Help

...I was advised by a good friend with CFS/FM that when I find a specialist, the first question I should ask is:
'Do you believe in CFS? (or FM - or whichever you have).

Just because they are a specialist does not always mean that they are au fait with all this stuff. They might do it as an 'offshoot' of ms, or immunology, or whatever.
It sets the tone for the rest of the consulatation too, as you both have a clearer idea of where you are coming from.

Have you tried putting in a search for 'questions to ask doctors?', here on the site. It is a fairly frequently asked question so you should come up with a wealth of info.

good luck, let us know how you get on.
