for anyone familiar with the questran protocol, can you tell me if it's OK to take my probiotics with the food that i eat 1/2 hour after taking the questran. i know that all supplements are supposed to be taken first thing in the morning or at night because they're not absorbed otherwise, but it doesn't seem like the absorption issue would apply to probiotics since they remain in the gut, and i like to take my probiotics with food to avoid stomach upset.

I know this doesn't specifically address the probiotics question but....It's my understanding that for Questran to be effective you should have it 1 hour before OR 2 hours AFTER you eat anything - meds, supplements OR food. If you take it near anything else, it will absorb THAT substance and not be as effective.

    I've used Questran (very successfully)
