All I can say is "WOW".
Name that pic!
I'll reveal the answer tomorrow.
This is the view from our back yard. On a clear day you can't see the mist.
What? That's not the right answer? I mist it?
Actually I searched for a while. Then I forgot all about it. Wouldn't get me up
those steps. I don't like to climb anything higher than the neighbor's crab apple tree.
Last time I was back in my home town was about 40 years ago. Amazing all
the trees and hedges that were gone. I wonder if that's what Thomas Wolfe meant
when he said, "You can't go home again." The reason you can't is because it's
changed so much. And we've changed too.
Hi Rock --
So this is picturing LA, without the fog/mist!
Wow! You and Gordon live with beautiful scenery!
You did get me laughing though. I'd climb those steps. All the way to the top!
But you'd have a difficult time getting me down, after I realized how high up I was.
I was back in my home town, back in 2001 I think. The big ol' horse chestnut tree in the back yard had storm damage. My cousin (who now owns the property) had some of the hedges pulled out. Other than that, the yard I grew up in looked pretty much the same.
Diane, who truly is afraid of heights (but only when she's looking DOWN!) LOL
And the answer is ..................
Haiku Stairs, Hawaii
I came across this pic, while viewing this CNN site -- The World's Scariest Stairs:
Would/could you climb any of these stairs?????
Like I said earlier, I'd go up. It'd be a *problem* getting me down. After I realized just how high I climbed! LOL
Enjoy the pics!
