    Hi y'all,

I read all the replies on Games 6 and 7. Made me smile, remember, and/or LOL, as appropriate. :)

Here's another pic for y'all to ponder .....

I'm guessing that Barry or Rock or Soul might guess this one!

    Good Luck!

    Diane :D

PS: The focus is near the bottom of the pic! ;)

Oh BTW, Rock -- I google "emoticons" for other "smilies". I might google emoticon bubblegum, emoticon guitar, emoticon ?. Then I copy it like a picture. :)

I can't decide what prizes to award! Hmmmm, I'll have to give that some thought! :)

    Hi Diane

This one is easy. It's the notorious hedgehog plant. You must never, never eat
one of the fruits. It will make you go hog wild!

PS Soul used to have one growing in her back yard.

    I'm smiling, Rock.

I thought you were kidding about the hedgehog plant. Then I googled and found that there IS a hedgehog cactus.

And, of course, there is "the" hedgehog:

Alas, you are incorrect in your guess!

The item in my pic might look tasty, especially pickled (brined) with added dill. But, 'tis not edible. :(

    Any more guesses???

Diane :D (smiley matches the color of my pic)

    Hi Diane

I have searched assiduously. The closest thing I can find is something called
cucumis anguira. It looks very similar to the pic, but not exactly. Uff-da!

What do you mean "kidding"? I never kid. Am always serial.

Gordon has lots of succulents. One has similar flowers to your post, but the
    plant itself is slightly different.

    Hi Diane

Had cucumber for breakfast. Made carrot juice yesterday. Added a cucumber
to give it a little zing. Sometimes I add apples for sweetness.

Well, that fruit doesn't look anymore like a cucumber than it looks like a
Pekingese. Wouldn't have guessed it "in a trial of a thousand years" as
Lincoln said in a much different context.

Hope you and the kitties and Kevin are doin' fine.

The plant does look like a pumpkin or gurkin family but never saw the wild cucumber either though my cucumbers are a bit spiked too. Mine look like miniature pears. [IMG]
