RA symptoms that really may be Lymes disease

    Does anyone know now common it is to be told that you have RA when actually you have a form of Lymes disease after visiting a foriegn country? How common does this happen?

    Hi,

    RA is one of the diseases that people often get misdiagnosed with when they are actually infected with Borrelia (Lyme), which has become chronic.

    Standard Testing for lyme is very unreliable. Many people with Lyme only ever tested negative.
