Anyone know anything about rabbit fever? I was wondering because my sister found this bunny out in her yard and is keeping it in her house around my niece who is five years old. I told her I didn't think it to be a good idea. She thinks I worry too much. Can't a person catch rabbit fever tularemia(sp) or something like that? I think it is spread by the rabit poop? Anyone know for sure? Ya'll think I just worry too much too?

I would be a little concerned. I did a search on rabbit fever and there is some good info out there.

Here we have a problem with rabbit fever (in the cotton tails) and rabies due to our large tick problem.

It can be transmitted to humans, but I don't think it is easily transmitted. Do that search.
