i don't know exactly what this is from,
but i'm going through a humongous flare.

i went off neurontin which was helping my migraines to the point where they almost went away,
but i couldn't take it anymore cause of the weight gain.
the migraines came back and so did the fatigue.

now, even if i only go for a short walk,
i wake up with horrible body aches.

i can barely walk from the pain.
but i can't take advil or anything because of GERD.
and it never seems to help my muscles.

i thought this might all be because of the storms we've had for the past week,
but it's sunny out today and pretty clear...
and the muscle pain is horrible.

could this be just a random flare,
or could it be from getting off the neurontin?

I didn't have FM until I withdrew from an SSRI and now that I've gotten through that and changed my diet, I'm much improved.

I don't know how long you took to withdraw from Neurotin but it wasn't long enough. Docs don't always know how long it can take for many of us. If you can hang on, you'll pull out of it in time. If it's too bad you could go back on a tiny bit of the med but then you'd just have to do it all over again. I wouldn't do that.

Drink lots of water. Hopefully knowing what it is and that it will end will help you stand it.

I wish you the VERY best of luck in this. It's HARD.
