    Hi all,

Sleep is still a big issue with me.
Saw neurologist and had a sleep study done. Results: Poor sleep. Eureka.
I'm on a cocktail of meds that sometimes work, but more often not.

Thought i would try a sleep specialist and search first for recommended ones.

The sleep specialist that I see here in Richmond, VA is Dr. Parisi with Sleep Disorder Center at 1800 Glenside Drive. He is very good and very thorough. Good Luck!!!

I always had sleep problems. I had a sleep study performed and discovered that I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea and my oxygen level dropped from 98 in the day to 74 during the night.

Now I sleep with a CPAP machine and have an oxygen concentrator that pipes oxygen into the CPAP and the air I breath through it.

It takes some people a little getting used to sleeping with a CPAP machine, but once you get used to it, it's wonderful, and you will never be able to sleep without it!

Also, when getting a CPAP machine, make sure you get one with a humidifer on it--it will help from you waking up with a sore throat--it's keeps your throat moist.

I'm glad you are sleeping better!

I think I forget how sleep is such a critical ingredient to this disease, and to achieving any kind of better health.

When my sleep is more solid at night, I feel about 50% better than when it's really disturbed. I'm checking out Dr. Parsi, and also got another recommendation from Dr. Daniel Jaller. He recommended Marc Raphaelson, MD who has a practice in Virginia.

    Got to try.

Thank you and best to you
