I have developed a red, scaly, painful skin rash, one on each hand. Does anyone know what this is and how I can treat it?

I am thinking this could be a sign of Sjogren's which I was DX with a couple of years ago but have no other symptoms.

Thank you in advance for any help.

think Sjorgren's has any rashes, but Lupus does.

I have lupus and sjorgren's and the lupus causes rashes. Check with your doctor the next time you are there.

Might also be psoriasis (another one of those lovely autoimmune disorders).

    Or maybe just eczema.

A dermatologist would be able to tell you what it is.

    Peace and blessings,

Thanks for all of your answers. I just saw my rheumatologist yesterday. He said they were from Schogren's. Seems like there's not much I can do about them except Niosporan helps a little.

My hands now look like I'm 80. There are so many small wrinkles and now these patches. I wonder if any of you have the same wrinkly, patchy hands?
