I noticed that so many were having sleep problems

I too, suffered from insomnia (badly)

I tried Elavil, Klonopin and Ativan. The Elavil worked for awhile. The Klonopin and Ativan knocked me out, but I felt much worse the next day!

I am now trying a SMALL dose (about 1/8 of a tablet) of Remeron and it helps me to get to sleep. If I wake up in the middle of night (or even early morning) I can fall right back to sleep.

I do experience some morning grogginess, but it will wear off with a cup of coffee or two

For those who continue to have problems, you might want to talk to your doctor about this. HOWEVER, be WARNED that it is VERY sedating and should only be tried in an extremely small dose!

I used it for awhile. And it sure did help with sleep. But as with so many other things seem to do-it stopped working.
It also made my RLS worse. Seems like any SSRI does that to me.
But thanks for the reminder-since I haven't taken it in awhile if I'm having a sleepless night I might give it a try again on an as needed basis.
    Take Care,
