A while back I was taking Mirapex for the pain in my legs. It took the pain away, but made me so nauseous I had to stop taking it. My doc just prescribed me requip for the same thing. Any experience with requip for PAIN???

Has not helped my pain, but has stopped my severe RLS in it's tracks.

I have heard of so many good stories about people who have used Requip for RLS.

IMHO, but I think that is what it is for. Even the ads on tv do not make any other claims.

They are still in the process of doing the studies on using requip for pain. Doctors use a lot of medicines on us for symptoms that they are not approved for. That doesn't mean they don't work. There is a name for it, but I can't remember it right now. Off label use I think it is called. I was just wondering if anyone had any success using it for pain.

I've read the study on Mirapex and it worked wonders on my pain, but I wasn't able to tolerate it well. I hear requip is easier on the tummy.
