    Hello,
My rib pain is only under my left breast and extends to the left side. It also at times makes me sick to my stomach. Does anyone else have their pain in this area? Thx...

I have rib pain often on the left side too. I have never had my ribs hurt on the right side. It has never made me sick to my stomach but it makes me not want to move about very much until it goes away. Take care.

Yes, its called; Costa Chondriasis, it seems people with Fibro get this often. Its an inflammation where the muscles join to the bones of the rubs. It can be on both sides, and top and botton of the ribcage, or just one place.

We have a big discussion on this last week, you can type; Costa Chondriasis in the 'Search Messages' and it will come up.

There is shots they can give you directly in the area if you want them. But I usually take a OTC Advil gel cap, with a low dose of Xanax (0.25 milligrams), and wrap a long heating pad around it and go to bed! Its usually better in a few days.

I have this last week very bad, and its now gone. But is sure hurts.

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Shalom, Shirl
