    So I ride my scooter off of the elevator at the fifth floor of the University of New Mexico hospital for my appointment with an endocrinologist today, and I hear the loud strains of live Christmas music, being sung in...


    Turns out there's a band of old white haired gentlemen--on violin, string bass, banjo, and accordian--with the name of "Uff Da." One is from Minnesota and one from Norway.

    If I could have, I would have gotten up and danced to their Norwegian version of "Jingle Bells."

    Vell, I haf never heard Yingle Bells in Norskie, but I bet it's yust vunderful.

    Mrs. Torgerson, Little Ole's schoolteacher, has been vurking vit him to get ready for da concert. He's a little confused about some of dem lyrics, ya know. He tinks dey go like dis:
