Hey i like to take pepto bismal sometimes (esp after de merlier came out with his theory about sulfur and cfs)
and I was just reading at that cfs recovery site someone listed about how someone followed the eat right for your blood type diet and it helped a lot and it said for o's that bismuth could be good for gut issues
but my concern about pepto and even dgl licorice is I know salicylate in the pepto and suspect in the licorice and I think too much salicylates isnt good for me these days.
does anyone know if one can get the mineral bismuth without salicylates and if it still helps with gut then and how much to take and where to get it in pure form? would be nice not to risk that pink dye in the pepto bismal too....
