This is a lawyer on the disability page. Has anyone used him for fm? Is he any good?
Scott is very good and won my case within 4 months. He knows his stuff. He is located in my city but I never met him...just worked with him on the phone. He is a very busy guy and can be agressive to the point of seeming rude but since I wasn't paying him to be my friend just win my case, I considered that a positive trait. Take care...Janice
blew me off too and did not offer any suggestions
I used him in 2002. I did most of the legwork, but he was
available when they tried to send me to their Dr. I told
them to contact my lawyer and they backed off. Scott will
usually take cases he is sure he can win. I think his
primary concern is that you have a lot of documentation by
your Drs. I had my primary physician, a psychiatrist,a rheumatologist, and a pain management Dr. Once he heard
that, he was on board. You don't need 4 Drs. but you do
need good documentation to support your claims. Fortunately I was approved first time. I wish you well in your pursuit of the disability you need.
p.s. I live in Florida and also never saw him. Just talked
by phone, mostly with his assistants.[This Message was Edited on 07/10/2008]
