SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL SPINAL CORD INJURY AWARENESS MONTH!

Congress marked September as the official Spinal Cord Injury Awareness month.

I was fortunate because when I sustained my back injury, I had paralysis for 3 days in the hospital and it turned out to be temporary. But for many others that is not the case and it is permanent.

Spinal Cord Injuries and paralysis often happens due to accidents, falls, illness, etc. Paralysis does not discriminate in race, sex, religion, finances, where you live, or who you know.
